It has a fully functional display, which allows you to cycle through all of your statistics on the fly. This gives you an effective way to access your fitness statistics at any time and make alterations to your regimen.

It has four different monitors that observe sweat, skin temperature, heart rate and sleep. This gives you the ultimate view into your health and fitness regimen, thereby allowing you to see which exercises are effective and which ones are not.

Perhaps the best feature for the B1 is the way it handles your data. Unlike other fitness bands, the B1 requires you to sign up for an online account. Through this account, you can set goals for yourself, change your regimens and review your progress.

Other bands only deliver you raw data and require you to make sense of it.The Basis B1 does a great job of simplifying your information, which allows you to more effectively manage your exercise program.

The biggest downside to the B1 is the price. At $200, it is easily one of the most expensive bands on the market.  The band itself is a bit bulky as well.

It has a sleek design, with a simple, flexible band that sits comfortably on your wrist. It has a nice combination of features that track your movement, your caloric input and output, and your sleep cycles, giving you the necessary tools to achieve your goals.

It also offers a minimal display, which measures specific goals you select, and alerts you when you reach those goals. The display is an effective reminder of your fitness regimen – something that is often forgotten in day-to-day life.

The sleep features are probably the best benefits of the Flex. When wearing the Flex at night, it analyzes your sleep patterns according to your movement, which it neatly arranges for you in easy-to-read charts. This can help you improve your sleep, whether that be eliminating a late night snack or including a nap in the afternoon.

Most beneficially, it has an incredibly handy alarm clock feature. You set the time you want to wake up, and the Flex will awake you with a gentle vibration when you are in your lightest sleep. For those looking for a budget option, there’s the Fitbit Zip. The Fitbit Zip is a smaller, cheaper option for those looking for a solid fitness tracker without all of the unnecessary bells and whistles.

The Zip covers all of the standard fitness tracker measures, such as calories and distances covered. However, it does not offer the sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring features of some of the pricier models.

The Zip is extremely portable. Unlike the B1 and the Flex, the Zip is a clip-on, meaning you can put it anywhere on your body that the clip will stay. This is good for those who don’t enjoy wearing bracelets.

It has a nice display that allows you to switch through all of your statistics on the go. This gives you a picture of how you are doing with your fitness goals for the day, so you can stay on top of your progress.

On the negative side, it lacks the sleep feature and the heart rate monitor that some of the higher cost bands include, and while some may like the strapless style, some will prefer the wristband form of other trackers.
